Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas, NV) scored a come-from-behind 61-56 victory over Scott County to advance to the championship game of the 2009 Beach Ball Classic.

The Gaels (9-1) will play Columbia (Decatur, GA) for the title at 7:30 p.m. Thursday night.

Johnathan Loyd led Bishop Gorman with 17 points, while Taylor Spencer added 15 points.  Anson Winder posted a double-double for teh Gaels with 12 points and 12 rebounds.

Scott County (7-3) was led by Chad Jackson's 14 points.  Ge-Lawn Guyn and Dekotah Euton chipped in 13 points each for the Cardinals, who wil play Cedar Hill (TX) in the third place game.
